The co-founder of Baba’s Chicken was a student who studied Financial Accounting at the University of Riverside. This young man’s love for food was no random discovery, it was normal for him to spend countless hours scrolling through food pages for dinner inspiration. He never had any formal culinary training from some fancy chef, he simply cooks from the heart and for happy bellies.
When the co-founder was a child, he spent a lot of time hovering over his dad while he was preparing Sunday’s BBQ. He was impressed with his dad’s ability to never measure anything, while always knowing exactly how much of each spice he needed. He stated that “My parents had a significant impact on my interest in food, and that's the primary reason I named my brand Baba's. I wanted it to reflect the "Dad-on-the-Grill" tradition that we all grew up on.”
