Our Mission

Our goal is simple: We want to deliver high-quality Nashville Hot Chicken and the best customer service anyone can have. Since the day we started our Pop-Up, we maintained a high level of transparency with our customers. We built the Baba's brand as a community and have gained some very loyal customers in the process.

Who's the Baba?

The co-founder of Baba’s Chicken was a student who studied Financial Accounting at the University of Riverside. This young man’s love for food was no random discovery, it was normal for him to spend countless hours scrolling through food pages for dinner inspiration. He never had any formal culinary training by some fancy chef, he simply cooks for happy bellies.

When the co-founder was a child, he spent a lot of time hovering over his dad while he was preparing Sunday’s BBQ. The co-founder was impressed with his dad’s ability to never measure anything, yet always knew exactly how much of each spice he needed. He stated that “My parents had a significant impact on my interest in food, and that's the primary reason I named my brand Baba's. I wanted it to reflect the  "Dad-on-the-Grill" tradition that we all grew up on.”

Why Hot Chicken?

At Baba’s, we give credit where it’s due, and that credit goes to Howlin’ Rays. They set the standard for all up-and-coming hot chicken restaurants in So-Cal. The moment we discovered Nashville Hot Chicken, it completely took over our lives. We immediately fell in love with the spices and the level of hospitality at Nashvillian Restaurants. We firmly believe that food is fuel for the soul, so we aimed to make our own high-quality recipe while delivering the greatest level of hospitality. we want customers to walk into Baba's and leave with a full belly and a huge smile on their face.
